Spiritual healing. What is it? Who is it for?

"The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God, a spiritual understanding of him, an unselfed love."   — Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

Christian Science is both a religious teaching and a Bible-based system of spiritual healing. The Bible — especially the teachings and healings of Christ Jesus — form the basis of Christian Science and its system of spiritual healing. Christian Science is available to all. More about Christian Science.

Students of Christian Science regard it as a way of life — as the promised "Comforter"of the ages. It is in the spirit of love that they bring this web site to the community along with the special joy and regeneration they have found in the study of this enlightening system of Christian healing.

All are welcome to attend Sunday services, Sunday School (up to the age of 20), Wednesday evening testimony meetings, and to visit our Reading Room located in the church building.

Message for 2013

russ gerberEach year, Russ Gerber, Manager of Committees on Publication, records a video message to share with the Field. The purpose of this video is to convey the vision and focus of the Committee office, and to inspire prayerful, financial, and active support from all church members and “other Scientists” as designated by Mary Baker Eddy in Article XXXIII of the Church Manual.

Health care reform
For more than three years, the U.S. Federal Office has been actively engaged in the conversation about health care reform on Capitol Hill to represent the unique perspective of Christian Scientists and others who use spiritual care services—and we are making excellent progress.

YOU CAN GET INVOLVED. See how you can address the issues regarding Obamacare as an active student of Christian Science. Directions and links for contacting ALL your representatives are on this federal web site page.
